Nov 1, 2021 · I’ve worked in many a clothing boutique and sizing is always all over the place between brands — the size chart is always my go to when I’m unsure. I‘m about half an inch shorter than you but 20-25lb heavier. I’m a Small on all my Patagonia jackets. I just purchased the Men's Classic Synchilla® Fleece Jacket.

My chest measures around 102cm, my waist is around 82cm, and my hips are 91cm. I usually go with a US/CAN size 30/30 pants, or European size 46 pants. I like things to be fitted, so I usually go with small American garments but medium when I'll have layers underneath. I am 5'7/5'8 (on a good day) and a bit muscular.

Mar 1, 2021 · Patagonia is one of the only outdoor clothing companies that actually makes true to size smaller men’s clothing including an occasional xxs. I would say you’re probably an XS. Their “technical” clothes like the R1 run slimmer than the more casual stuff.

Dec 2, 2021 · Go with a medium. They fit baggy but there is zero stretch. There are 2 inseams on these: 5” or 7”, regardless of size. So the nominal size doesn’t really correspond to length. They fit true to size. Kind of. They are a relaxed fit. I wear a medium in just about everything Patagonia but I wear a small in baggies.

Jun 15, 2022 · At least with Patagonia, I found your normal size may not work across all their jackets. For instance, I wear a Woman's M in a Nanopuff. But in the Micropuff or Down Sweater jackets, M is slightly too tight, but the L is slightly too large. I owned a Man's S in a Patagonia down jacket. It fit. Kinda.

Dec 5, 2022 · Same size I take in a Atom LT / AR. In my experience the r1 air fits similar to arc, meaning it’s more fitted than typical Patagonia sizing. The xl might be a bit long/big. That jacket is longer than the zip neck in the sleeves and body. Take a look on the Patagonia website.

Aug 15, 2021 · Small sounds right to me, too, if you want it to fit as it was designed to. I’m about 5’8” 140#, and I’ll wear XS in some tees, though, since the regular/relaxed fit is just too boxy for me. Your normal size should be fine I am 5’11 175 and the medium fits me almost exactly like a comfort colors medium does.

Jan 11, 2024 · there are so many post about sizing, there is a link next tot the size chart, called what's my size? if you click that link, and answer the questions, it will give you what people that answered the questions that answered the same way, what size they bought. it will give you a better sense of what size you should buy. hopefully that helps,
