Standard stock/handguard set-up vs Magpul? | Glock Talk
Nov 17, 2013 · OP- my build has Magpul CTR, Magpul Miad grip , Magpul Enhanced trigger guard, and Magpul MOE handguards. I prefer the Magpul grips to A2s- they are more ergonomic and fit my hands better- and they have a like 4 different ones I believe- one is like the A2 in size but MUCH more comfortable.

Dec 3, 2021 · Either is fine, so whichever you prefer. I think the old MOE wasn't M-lok, so beware of that for both the handguard and attachments. But the sling mounting so far to the rear... I've done once on a full rail and would not recommend. It allowed the sling to interfere with my magazine change.

Sep 14, 2010 · Hey guys, I'm building my first AR and i wanted to use the Magpul MOE handguard. However, in all of the photos I've seen the rifles have had the standard M16 front sight post. Is this required when utilizing the Magpul MOE? I was planning on running flip up sights.

May 5, 2018 · HoS, the tabs are what go under the edge of the handguard cap (at the front) and delta ring (at the rear). If you don't get the front tabs all the way under the front handguard cap, the rear won't be in the right position to get crammed under the spring-loaded delta ring, so proper front tab positioning (squared-up rotationally so the top is exactly on top, not off to one side, …

Aug 6, 2010 · Put the front of the bottom handguard in the middle of the (wings) on the upper handguard. Push front and up to snap the front of the bottom handguard section into the front upper piece/end cap. Pull delta ring back, push rear of lower handguard up and snap into place in the delta ring. Done.

Aug 14, 2007 · SL is a pain to install. Once it's installed; however, it's a night and day improvement over the MOE. Slimmer, longer, and (in my limited experience) locks up more solidly. Make sure you have a round handguard cap before you buy, though.

Apr 24, 2020 · I've tried the BCM's and Railscales, and they were okay, but I currently use the Magpul's and like them the best. They are secure on the handguard, good aggressive texture , good coverage and heat protection, and there is enough clearance for *my* low profile gas block. It’s just personal preference, as I love their texture.
