Mar 16, 2014 · My mare is 19 her teeth are more angled and the grove is almost as grown out (she is 18-20 but i think 19 is a good guess). I would say just bad teeth and mid teens. 20. 15. 5. Here is a couple of horses with a dirty teeth. It would be hard to read just from the grove.

Ranitidine (6.6 mg/kg, PO, tid) has been shown to be effective in healing gastric ulcers when horses were removed from training.

Feb 25, 2015 · stevenson. beet pulp (soaked) is given as a supplement to other feed. i use it with sr feed and hay for my old horses. i dont feed oats simply because my old horses cannot chew them good enough. i would get a cracked oat, it digest in the fore gut instead of the hind gut , so do not feed large amounts at one time.

No curry combs on the legs, head, mane or tail, and I was taught that no metal curry combs, those shaped in a rectangle, should be used on the body at all, they are for cleaning body brushes. Some use the round version directly on the body.

He is getting his teeth looked at on the 8th so we will see if its a floating issue or a lack of teeth issue. Or the fact he is an old Thoroughbred lol. I also ended up getting strategy healthy edge for his paint and my arab.
