22News began collecting toys for children in our lobby Monday morning. These toys are then sorted by the Marines and distributed to local non-profit agencies and churches across western Massachusetts. Our station was joined by some special guests who helped kick off the Toys for Tots season.

The annual Toys for Tots campaign of Northwest Michigan starts this weekend with a special celebration. The kick-off party will take place Saturday from 12 until 2 p.m. at the Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City.
