San Antonio Spurs forward Jeremy Sochan will have surgery to repair a fractured left thumb he suffered Monday night in a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

After leaving the first half early, the San Antonio Spurs announced that Jeremy Sochan will be out for the remainder of the game with a left thumb injury. His status beyond Monday's contest is unknown.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, who was not on the bench for Saturday's game due to an undisclosed illness, will miss at least the next two games.
