New Jersey voters are deciding between Democratic Rep. Andy Kim and Republican hotel developer Curtis Bashaw in the state’s Senate race, open because of Democratic Sen.

He will become the first Asian American senator from New Jersey and the first U.S. senator of Korean descent from any state.

Andy Kim, the three-term Democratic congressman from Moorestown, is looking to close out a historic election that would give him the distinction of being the first Korean American in the U.S. Senate and the first Asian American senator elected from New Jersey.
