Unidentified human remains were found in a home on Village Grove Drive by the home’s new owner Saturday evening, authorities say. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office and the Harris County Fire Marshal responded to the scene at the residence of the 13300 block of Villa Grove Drive Saturday evening.

After a new homeowner found human remains while cleaning their property, authorities are investigating if they are linked to a missing tenant.

The sheriff's office says the discovery was made at a recently purchased home, where the owner was cleaning it out when he found the skeletal remains.
