Led by walk-on quarterback Aidan Warner, Florida tied the game at 20-20 midway through the fourth quarter before the Bulldogs hit the gas late in an unexpectedly tense rivalry showdown.

This will be the fourth meeting between Texas and Florida. Texas holds a 2-0-1 lead in the series, but the last meeting took place in 1940.
