Morgan Rogers has signed a new Aston Villa contract having made his England debut in the recent international break.

Morgan Rogers has signed a new contract at Aston Villa that runs until 2030. The Athletic reported last month that the 22-year-old was in talks to sign a Villa contract extension, with the club keen to bring his salary in line with team-mates and to reflect his standing as a key part of Unai Emery’s side.

As a result, Villa have moved swiftly to reward Rogers with a new deal, one that will run until the end of the 2029-30 campaign. Rogers was settling back into a familiar environment when moving to Villa, the forward having previously spent time with West Bromwich Albion's academy side before making a switch to Manchester City in 2019.
