Novak Djokovic will not play at the ATP Finals in Turin because of injury. The Serbian won a record seventh title at the season-ending event last year by beating Jannik Sinner in the final and will miss it for only the second time since making his debut in 2007.

For the first time in his long career, Novak Djokovic will skip the ATP Finals. Djokovic, who has won the title seven times including the last two, cited an injury but most expected the Serb, with his reduced schedule, wasn’t keen on making the appearance anyway.

Novak Djokovic has pulled out of the season-ending ATP Finals due to an injury, the record 24-times Grand Slam champion said on Tuesday. The 37-year-old Serbian also withdrew from the Paris Masters, which was won by world number two Alexander Zverev on Sunday.
