The Philadelphia Flyers lost to the Colorado Avalanche, 3-2, on Monday evening at Wells Fargo Center. Trailing 3-0 in the third period, the Flyers pushed back within one goal. They were unable to find an equalizer.

The Avalanche dominated the Flyers for long stretches of the game and came away with a 3-2 win at the Wells Fargo Center, ending Philadelphia’s point streak at five games (4-0-1). Colorado captain Gabriel Landeskog presented Johnson with a framed portrait and gifted his family with a trip to Napa, California.

Cale Makar scored two goals to lead the Avalanche to a 3-2 win over the Flyers Monday night in a game where a referee was stretchered off the ice.
