School leaders have three proposed options to renovate Druid Hills High School, but they all come with significant financial hurdles.

During the third and final public meeting, parents heard that the price tag to modernize Druid Hills High School is going up. Two years ago a video posted by students went viral showing deplorable conditions. But that video didn’t show all of the high school’s issues.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Parents, not students, walked the halls of Druid Hills High School Monday night, touring the school steeped in history. Betsy Wallace has a child who attends the high school. Overall, she said the experience had been fine, but aging infrastructure and other deteriorating conditions at the facility had come into question.
