How much walking is done during the tour?
A:
The entire experience is a walking tour. The next exhibit is only feet from the previous exhibit. You will be on your feet for a while but will NOT walk a great distance.

It wouldn’t hurt, but I’m not sure how much he/she will get out of it.

Just try and get there early. The museum gets busy quickly. You can buy tickets online and they put you in a faster line.

Yes I believe you can go anytime during the 30 minute period but it is very crowded on the weekend and pretty steady through the week. I would expect to be in a line and sometimes the wait is outside the facility so it can be warm depending on when you go.
