View from Ecola State Park is not spectacular unless you have a good camera lens that can zoom in or binocular's. You have a better view of Haystack Rock than the light house. Full review by Quest44506900614

Hello, Are you sure they still have the hikers camp? I wasn't sure if they had that anymore. I know the park is open till 10 pm. It would be a bit of a hike to park outside of Ecola state park and then hike in. I'm not sure that Cannon beach has much for overnight parking unless your staying at a place there. I'm sorry I cant be more help but I'd make sure that the park still does the hikers camp overnight.
