You might be interested in two events in the town in the next few weeks. The annual folk festival is the last Saturday in July and it is a free event. There are performers all around the town including the park. The August Bank holiday weekend is the Hot Air Balloon Festival on the Saturday, Sunday and the park is filled with entertainment and around 20 hot air balloons. It is well worth a visit.
