It was raining the day we went unfortunately but that wasn’t going to stop us. A good idea to check the tide chart as it comes in from both sides. Worth a visit for the views. Full review by Anne F

TAXI is the only public transport option. Said to be about $23 which seems very cheap. An hour and half trip.

Go first to Masterton, by upper Hutt. Count three hours with short stops.
