It is very beautiful and mystical inside. It is quite big and does get busy but definitely worth a visit. Some interesting ornaments inside with large columns and oozing grandeur Full review by Jzeestar

I repeatedly see listings that the Basilica Cistern is open at night, but every place I go to look to buy tickets online only has options for entry up to 5:30 pm. Does anyone know how to prepurchase online tickets for a nighttime entry? Thank you.

You have to buy these from the ticket office - online isn’t available like during the day time. They cost 1,300 TL
